Rachel Keller

My first degree was Psychology. My Professional background is Management (Organisational Change, Training, Management Development, Psychometrics and latterly Performing Arts). My PhD focusses on community building and knowledge generation through quilting. I have deconstructed this highly skilled process and designed an entry level kit . The next stage is to use RFID or QR codes so that selected patches of a quilt, when scanned, will link to media and tell its significance and story. I then hope to see what new demographics can do with the ‘techno quilt’.
I am interested in interaction design, user innovation and wellbeing.
During my masters year designed a smart suit to correct posture and also holograms (spectral images) to help improve dance technique (this could be applied to other physical activities).
